Kenyan comedian-turned-philanthropist Eric Omondi has once again made a difference by raising over Ksh. 480,000 for Florence Odhiambo, a mother in Mathare whose roof was removed by the landlord due to rent arrears. The initial awareness about Florence Odhiambo's situation was brought to light by Priscilla Waimani.
Hours later, the matter got the attention of Eric Omondi who immediately appealed to Kenyans to help the struggling mother through his initiative “Team Sisi Kwa Sisi’.
On January 24, 2024, Omondi shared an update with his fans and followers, revealing that they successfully raised a minimum of Sh480,000 for Florence.
“We are at 480K!!! TEAM SISI KWA SISI!!! Tuendelee, today we are changing the life of this widow with her Children forever!!! Keep Sending to her Number 0716492328 (NAME: FLORENCE ODHIAMBO) LETS GOOO!!!,” Omondi updated.

Prior to launching the online fundraiser, the comedian assured that they were committed to transforming the woman's situation. He highlighted that Florence Adhiambo had endured two days in the house after the landlord removed the roof, leaving her with no alternative place to go.
