For the first time, Andrew Kibe has addressed the claims making the rounds on social media that he used to be a preacher.

The content creator attributes the rumor's origin to Lang'ata MP Felix Odiwuor, also called Jalang'o, even though he believes it untrue.

Nonetheless, Kibe encountered the difficulty of elucidating images making the rounds on the internet, depicting him as a preacher in a church, with a Bible in some of them.

He claims that although he has never served as a pastor, the photos were taken while he was attending a funeral to represent his inebriated pastor friend.

"I have never been a pastor, never led workout sessions in the gym. But one day, my friend who is a pastor was intoxicated and couldn't conduct a funeral service for a child. So, he called me and said we couldn't find a pastor, and you know we have to lead that funeral. So, he called me, and I went. I wish you were there to see me at that funeral at Lang'ata Cemetery," Kibe explained.

"I prayed there and even gave a sermon. Even now, if you want, I can preach; I learned the Bible because my friend was a pastor at that time," he added.

According to Kibe, the information on the internet is untrue and intended to damage his reputation.

Kibe said that he needed an idea to get himself out of a difficult financial situation at the time of his abrupt departure from the country.

After telling his friend back home in the States everything, he could leave by having the friend send him the money needed for a plane ticket.
