The last two weeks have seen a surge in the online community regarding Sanaipei Tande, with users claiming she is trying to conceal her pregnancy. This is untrue, though.
The musician debunked those rumors in an interview uploaded to Lynn Ngugi's YouTube channel on Tuesday, March 12th. She talked about the rumors she has encountered since rising to fame.
"When I was 19, when I first came into the industry, I thought everything was black and white but then I learnt from being behind the scenes, that that oh my goodness, people just really create their own stuff."
Adding,
Did you read this?
"They can fabricate a whole story. So back then there was a lot of fear. I thought everything was black and white. Then I come and figured out that people just create stories, or try and get you in a picture, in a compromising situation and then they blow up the whole thing."
She said that she no longer cared about those agenda pushers.
"I used to care because I was younger I was very impressionable and affected. Then I grew and then i understood that there is black, white and grey. That there are crazy people in this world would do anything to push a story."
The singer-actress said that sorting through good and bad news is essential.
Rumors no longer have an impact on me. Declare it. You express yourself as you please as recently as last week when Twitter (now X) impregnated me.
What is that? One day, a random girl decided to announce that Sanaipei was expecting. Next, her physical form. That was her statement. Everyone has noticed it and is inquiring as to whether it is true or not.
She declared she would not put up with online harassers.
"I don't know why, after 20 years, people have not learned that I will not share my personal information. So even as they ask me, you are talking to a rock.
I am not going to respond. And it's died off. It was last week, but now there is something else. You move on as long as you know deep down in your heart that this is not your truth; it shouldn't bother you."
