Konde Boy had promised a few weeks ago to call Diamond to work out their differences and concentrate on elevating Tanzanian music.
The Never Give Up hitmaker claimed that while departing WCB Wasafi, he was required to pay at least Sh21 million to end his contract with the label in 2019, an amount he felt was excessive.
The two celebrities' back-and-forth arguments gave rise to their beef since then.
Various leaders, including the late President John Pombe Magufuli, attempted in vain to reconcile the two.
"I was chasing my dreams and in that process, people started thinking I wanted to overtake Diamond. If you are keen enough all artists who have had problems with Diamond, the problem starts when they start shining. When they are still not popular, they are good friends. An example is Ommy Dimpoz. They were friends. I will speak since I do want people to see me as the bad person," Harmonzie alleged in a 2021 interview.
The "Atarudi" hitmaker further stated that things got so bad that he sought the intervention of several people, including Diamond's mum, Mama Sandrah Dangote.
"All I wanted was peace. So I followed Mama Dangote and told her Diamond and I were like brothers, and we had come from far and helped each other in many ways," he added.
Fans of Platnumz and Konde Boy are pleased that they are again in communication despite everything that has transpired over the previous five years.
