Fresh details have emerged concerning the arrest of DJ Joe Mfalme, shedding light on the purported involvement of three police officers in the incident.

The identified officers, namely Sammy Rotich Cherono, Khadija Abdi Wako, and Agnes Kerubo Mugo, have been implicated in the assault on Felix Kelian Kitosi, a senior detective attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), whose life was tragically lost due to the altercation.

The altercation began when Kitosi got into a disagreement with Mr. Joseph Mwenda, widely recognized as DJ Joe Mfalme, after a car collision at Kikuyu Police Station in Kiambu County. It's reported that DJ Joe Mfalme's associates allegedly assaulted Kitosi before the three police officers intervened and subsequently arrested him.

After the arrest, Kitosi was initially transported to Kikuyu Police Station but was later swiftly transferred to Lang’ata Hospital and subsequently relocated to Nairobi West Hospital due to the seriousness of his injuries.

The involvement of the police officers in the assault has raised serious concerns, leading to their arrest and subsequent confinement at Riruta Police Station. All individuals apprehended in relation to the incident, including DJ Joe Mfalme, are scheduled to appear in court on Monday, March 25th.
