Gospel singer Gelfas Khayega Amuchitsi, known as Firebwize, has released a new song titled "Waambie Watulie," featuring Njoro MP Charity Kathambi and Senator Karen Nyamu as video vixens.

Firebwize, originally from Kakamega and currently residing in Njoro, states that the song is inspired by Kenyans' challenges.

“We are living in tough times & as you can see there are a lot of issues in our society. From hard economic times, Floods, Psychological Disorders, etc so my inspiration in this music is to encourage people to hold on and wait & see how God will act. It’s a matter of time, Waambie Watulie,” Firebwize said.

He also explained how he managed to get Senator Karen Nyamu to feature in his song and elaborated on the nature of their relationship.

“Senator is an amazing being, she loved my music and she’s been my greatest support system. She is easygoing, understanding, and supportive.

“She sponsored my video at one of the fast-growing music labels in Kenya; SAFRI RECORDS. It’s always been my dream to do quality work and mheshimiwa made it possible. She appeared in the video together with Hon. Kathambi, and Hon Salasya among others,” Firebwize.

The gospel singer went on to appreciate MP Charity Kathambi for always supporting his music career.

“Mhesh is my area MP and my boss. She is more of a mother to me. She has walked with me in my music career. I owe her a lot for the support she gave.

Firebwize started his music career back in 2002 but recorded his first song in 2017.

“When did you start singing Firebwize is a gospel artist, singer & dancer. Started my music career in the year 2002 but I recorded officially my first song in 2017,” he says.

Some of the challenges he has encountered all the way include;

“Financial Constraints. Quality production requires finances as well as marketing the product,” he mentions.

He noted that despite all that he has been through music still pays his bills.

“Music pays my bills. I have interacted with various leaders from the political scene to the business world locally & internationally,” he added.

In the future, Firebwize plans to release more music and establish a talent base to support aspiring artists.
