Just earlier this year, Ben Affleck referred to Jennifer Lopez as his "wife"; however, in the same breath, he made it clear that he wasn't overly fond of her level of celebrity.
The actor appeared as a guest on the most recent episode of Kevin Hart's talk show, "Hart to Heart," and yes, they discussed Ben and Jen's marriage. Ben even spoke extensively about it and shared some thought-provoking observations.
To begin with, he referred to J Lo as his "wife" during the sit-down, but he also mentioned that he wasn't really a big fan of her attention-grabbing style.

You should see how Ben describes Jen's level of fame for yourself. He claims that it's "bananas" that people are swooning over her when they go out, but they aren't as enthralled with him.
Another thing Ben made very clear in this interview is that, especially with his kids around, he detests attention and cameras in his face. Since he's reunited with J Lo, this has probably become much more apparent.
It's an interesting conversation, but what's even more interesting is that Ben is sporting a beard here. This is notable because he doesn't seem to be rocking a beard these days, so the interview is actually quite old.
Ben had a beard in late February, but by mid- to late-March, he had completely grown it out for a new film he was filming. This suggests that his remarks on the KH show are probably from February or even earlier.
Finally, Ben states that he feels like he has five children now rather than just three, implying that he doesn't really distinguish between Jen's two children and his own.
Of course, things have changed a lot since then ... now, he's moved out of the marital home -- and on its face, it looks like Ben and Jen might be headed for divorce.
