We have obtained additional footage of the altercation between Megan Thee Stallion's security and reality star Jonathan Wright. The video shows Jonathan landing a punch on the security guard's face before the scuffle was broken up.

The exact cause of the physical confrontation remains unclear, but as previously reported, everything seemed to resolve itself after a few drinks at the bar. Megan Thee Stallion had to step in as a mediator at her own L.A. party, apparently because her security guard didn’t recognize that Jonathan Wright was part of the crew.

TMZ Hip Hop acquired video from inside Megan's "Megan" album release party, held Thursday night at Millwick Event Space in Downtown L.A. According to reports, Megan arrived with her entourage and made her way to the VIP area while her hit collaboration with GloRilla, "Wanna Be," played in the background.

A few minutes later, a minor altercation erupted between her security guard, Tom Lang, and the Zeus Network reality star. Some event sources claim that Megan's team was being disrespectful, but it might also have been a case of mistaken identity.

A surprised Megan soon became aware of the commotion and can be heard shouting for Tom to stand down from inside the roped-off area. Megan eventually connected with Jonathan, and the situation was diffused with drinks at the bar.

With the drama resolved, Megan, Jonathan, and the other guests enjoyed the jungle-themed party, complete with live snakes. Megan dressed the part in a sleek, reptilian outfit. Guests could take photos with a large snake, and Megan teased her friends for being afraid of the animals.

The jungle theme matched Megan's new album, featuring tracks like "Hiss," "Boa," and the latest Nicki Minaj diss track, "Rattle," all inspired by snake activities. The album cover art depicts Megan hatching from an egg.

We reached out to Megan's security team for comment on the incident but have not yet received a response.
