Kenyan socialite Huddah Monroe has responded to MP Peter Salasya after he claimed to have stopped pursuing her. In an Instagram post, the Mumias East MP stated that Huddah is too expensive to maintain and that he needed to disassociate himself from her. He expressed his intention to return to the more traditional women he had overlooked in his pursuit of Huddah.

In her reply, Huddah accused Salasya of defaming her, noting that he had only sent her a small amount of money, which she jokingly called “pesa ya chakula ya kuku” (chicken feed money). She even refunded him the KSh 10,000 he had sent her, explaining that she was unaware of his transfer since she had received a larger sum of KSh 2 million from someone else.

“Mimi Si Kienyeji Bro Tafuta Size Yako. This guy sent me KSh 10,000 which I didn’t even notice. Usiniharibie jina coz of $80 dollars, bro. Wacha members wajue nilirudisha pesa ya chakula ya kuku,” she wrote on Instagram. Meanwhile, MP Salasya announced that he is no longer interested in socialites and is now searching for a partner with “wife material.”
