Cardi B recently revealed that she underwent major surgery without knowing she was pregnant at the time. During an Instagram Live session on Sunday, the rapper shared that in January, she had her butt injections removed and also underwent fibrosis removal, after getting the go-ahead from two blood tests. However, in March, when she found out she was pregnant, her OBGYN gave her some surprising news.

Cardi explained that her doctor informed her she was actually 17 to 18 weeks pregnant, which meant she was expecting during the surgery. This revelation shocked Cardi, as she thought she was only 7 to 8 weeks along, having assumed the pregnancy resulted from a Valentine's Day encounter with Offset.

Looking back, Cardi realized she hadn’t had her period in February or March but initially chalked it up to the surgery. However, when she pieced things together, she remembered the real "baby-making" night was on New Year's Eve.

The rapper admitted she was extremely worried about potential complications for her baby girl due to the surgery. Thankfully, her daughter was born earlier this month without any issues. The baby's arrival came shortly after Cardi announced her split from Offset.

Cardi’s divorce papers confirmed that Offset is the father of her newest child, just as he is of their other two children, Kulture and Wave.
