Sarah Kabu has announced that she will no longer use her husband’s name, “Kabu,” following their divorce and will rebrand herself as Sarah Mtalii.

“From tomorrow, I’ll officially be known as Sarah Mtalii or Sarah Njoki Nyaga for formal purposes. I won’t be using the name Sarah Kabu anymore. Bloggers, please refer to me as Sarah Mtalii,” she stated.

Despite the changes, Sarah expressed her continued belief in marriage and her hope to remarry in the future. “Watu wa Embu, lazima nikuje homecoming, sasa mimi ni wenu. I still believe in marriage. Right now, I’m not ready to re-enter the dating scene, but one day, I will, and I’ll get married again,” she said.

This announcement follows a series of public disputes between Sarah and Simon Kabu, which have drawn significant attention online. Their strained relationship made headlines after CCTV footage allegedly showed Sarah assaulting a woman, later identified as the family’s nanny. Simon confirmed the incident and stated that it involved his wife.

The drama escalated further when Sarah posted on social media, seeking updates on her complaints to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) regarding allegations of gender-based violence.

Sarah’s rebranding marks a new chapter in her life as she moves forward from the highly publicized fallout.
