Bungoma Goliath raised concerns over being mistaken for Gen Z Goliath due to their shared nickname and towering heights. The claims of Bungoma Goliath being in Mombasa or Dubai are causing frustration, as he insists he’s based in Nairobi

He calls for measures to ensure the two can be easily distinguished, particularly to avoid legal or social misunderstandings. Despite the confusion, Bungoma Goliath clarified that he wishes Gen Z Goliath well on his Dubai business trip.

As Gen Z Goliath continues living large in Dubai, soaking up the luxuries of life, Bungoma Goliath is dealing with an unexpected challenge—identity confusion. Isaac Otesa wants to be distinguished from Bradley Marongo (l).

The two personalities, both famed for their extraordinary heights and the shared "Goliath" nickname, have become the centre of rising public mix-ups. Bungoma Goliath has voiced his frustrations, calling on the government to step in and help address the issue. According to him, the frequent misidentifications have led to awkward situations where people assume he’s been seen in places like Mombasa or even Dubai when in reality, he’s been in Nairobi all along.

“I want to ask the government to help distinguish me from Bradley. People confuse us everywhere. Kenyans are confused—they can’t differentiate us. I am appealing for help,”  said Bungoma Goliath. He expressed particular concern over the potential consequences of these mix-ups.

“One of us could break the law, and it could lead to the arrest of an innocent person. That would be wrong. I can’t solve this myself, but the government can. Just the other day, I went somewhere, and people claimed I had been to Mombasa and Tanzania. I’ve never been to those places; I’ve been to Nairobi. The government should intervene," he said in a video.

Despite the frustration, Bungoma Goliath clarified that he holds no grudges against Bradley (Gen Z Goliath), who is currently on a business trip in Dubai. “I was in Mlolongo yesterday, and some people claimed I was in Dubai. It’s all a misunderstanding. I have no issue with Bradley being in Dubai. It’s God’s grace, and I wish him the best,” he shared.

Bungoma Goliath reiterated that his appeal for government intervention is not about competition or jealousy, but rather a call to prevent the potential risks of identity confusion. While he didn’t provide specific solutions to the dilemma, he hopes that authorities will find a way to guide the public on distinguishing between the two Goliaths to avoid any future misunderstandings.
