Guardian Angel, a renowned Kenyan Gospel musician, On Friday, February 10, 2023, warned comedian Eric Omondi not to mention him or his wife in his issues.

Guardian blasted comedian Eric Omondi for criticizing gospel musicians. He claimed that God doesn't use social media to reach out to people since he isn't in the clout-chasing business. According to Guardian, they have extensive professional careers and serious tasks with serving God as artists. He said that since it takes a lot of work to establish a name, Eric shouldn't abuse social media by insulting gospel musicians.

The gospel singer stated that Eric Omondi was still on a quest to clout chase and had decided it was appropriate to target individuals who work in the gospel industry.


According to Guardian Angel, Eric Omondi is not qualified to deliver God's message to the people. Guardian added that God is selective in who he selects to do a particular job.


Guardian asserted that God does not do the Kind of nonsense Eric was doing. He further stated that for God to use someone, he or she must leave his ways and follow him to transform into His right path. According to Guardian, Jesus cannot use a blind person to show others the way.

Many Kenyans on the internet were shocked when comedian Eric Omondi produced a video attacking both active and inactive gospel musicians for their apathy in preaching the gospel.


The controversial comedian informed Gospel artists that, in his opinion, they are responsible for immorality and steady encroachment into society. The furious-looking Eric Omondi used homosexuality in Kenya as his primary example.


It is worth noting that clout chasing has spread throughout Kenya, and many celebrities use it to get large amounts of attention to their online material.
