Lead singer of Sauti Sol, Bien Aimee, just released a song with Nigerian artist Arya Star that is breaking records.
Speaking in an interview with Mpasho, Bien revealed why the song was not published on the official Sauti Sol Channel. Bien replied that the management would not permit him to publish the song as a Sauti Sol project because it was a personal project.
The song was also uploaded to his new Youtube account, which he claims will be another source of money for him.
In a video he released on his Youtube channel, Kibe felt that Sauti Sol as a band was pulling Bien behind and believed that if Bien wanted to rise and have a name on the continent, he had to ditch the band.

Kibe continued by asserting that Bien is the musical glue that keeps Sauti Sol together and that the group would not exist without Bien. He added to Eric Omondi's contention that Kenyan musicians are underperforming in music promotion.
Bien and Eric have been at each other's throats for the past few months. According to Bien, the most important factor is the compensation, not who performs when. Eric and Bien almost fought at the NRG radio-sponsored Konshens performance.
