Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the most known son of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, says he is prepared to pitch a statue of the late American rapper Tupac in his hometown.

The divisive Muhoozi, who recently declared his intention to run for president in the elections in August 2022, said he wanted to 'assist' the Americans by erecting a statue of the illustrious musician.

The late rapper, born Tupac Amaru Shakur but commonly known by his stage name 2Pac, is one of the best-known musicians and has sold more than 75 million records worldwide, but in 1996, he was assassinated.

"If our cherished brothers and sisters in the USA have not erected a magnificent statue of the greatest African singer of our generation, I want to assist," Muhoozi remarked. My goal is to have Tupac memorialized in his hometown. The magnificent man may now rest in peace. he tweeted

2Pac was born in 1977, and throughout his career in music and cinema, he has remained a seminal presence in the rap genre. In 1995, the musician wed Keisha Morris, a pre-law student, but their marriage was declared null and void ten months later.

The Dear Mama hitmaker was detained several times over sex abuse and assault. He was also taken into custody in Atlanta in October 1993 after shooting two unarmed police officers.

A month later, he and two other men were charged with sodomizing a woman in his hotel room. A judge condemned "an act of horrific aggression against a helpless woman" and sentenced him to 18 months to 4 and 1/2 years in prison two years later, in February.

He made his on-screen debut in 1991. His acting abilities were so excellent that three more movies with him in them were released shortly after his passing. His influence on hip-hop culture is well known, and his significance in pop culture, in general, has been highlighted.

Due to his contributions to the music and entertainment industries, 2Pac has continued to be honoured and recognized even after his passing.
