Size 8 Reborn, a prominent gospel performer and evangelist from Kenya, Linet Munyali, opened her church, Christ Revealed Ministries, two months ago.
After receiving salvation in April 2013, the singer left the mainstream music business and changed her name from Size 8 to Size 8 Reborn.
Size 8 highlighted in an exclusive interview with Nairobi News that only some are pleased with her advancement.
She said that with the turmoil and controversies that have broken out in some churches, anyone opening a church is currently free to speak out against them.

However, she is adamant about changing and wants to reassure everyone that everyone is different.
Some people still believe in God and preach because they are called to do so. I've been avoiding this call for ten years, but I finally gave in," she remarked.
She realised she was called to something more than music but was trying to avoid it.
I now serve God after experiencing ups and downs in the gospel and secular music. The detractors will eventually see that we approach things. Differently, she continued.
Size 8 stressed that expansion was the primary driver behind establishing her church, which has more than 8,000 members overall, including both online and in-person attendees.
"People leave churches for a variety of reasons. We occasionally outgrow the church we attend. She said that similar to how Jesus had the 12 disciples and later dispatched them to launch their ministry.
