Martha Karua, the deputy leader of Azimio La Umoja One in Kenya, has demanded an explanation from the police on the unrest in Kibra and the recent attacks on private property.

A group of young people caused mayhem on Monday at the Northlands property held by the family of former president Uhuru Kenyatta and the East Africa Specter Gas Company, which Raila Odinga owns.

Karua criticized the actions, saying they amounted to acts of impunity as the unidentified groups wreaked devastation without any help from the authorities to stop them.

"All Kenyans deserve protection by @NPSOfficial_KE irrespective of political affiliation. Kenyans are owed an explanation why kibera is burning tonight, & why East África Specter@RailaOdinga family business, &Kenyatta family Northlands were denied police protection," she tweeted.

The Narc Kenya Leader slammed Inspector General Japhet Koome for acting under the whims of the Executive by allowing rogue youth to destroy public property.

She insisted that the Inspector General must bear the personal responsibility for the failure of his police officers to counter the destruction.

"IG koome the 'tough talking' police chief @NPSOfficial KE who stands idly while hired goons invade and destroy the private property of a retired president and commander in chief," Karua tweeted. "Police are deployed to prevent and tear peaceful gas demonstrations.

Karua claimed that the leaders of Azimio know about other conspiracies to target leaders to thwart their mission.

"The world is watching, and we have intelligence that there are plans to attack additional leaders @NPSOfficial KE @ODPP KE@DCI Kenya, the Narc Kenya Leader stated. "We had intelligence goons would be hired to cause havoc today, and it has come to pass," the Narc Kenya Leader said.

Kibra Violations

After opposition leader Raila Odinga organized anti-government protests, a mosque and a church were set on fire in Kibra on Monday night.

Following a series of rallies in the slum addressed by opposition leaders on the second day of widespread protests against the high cost of living and a victory Odinga claimed was stolen from him in the election last year, fighting between two rival gangs intensified.

One resident added, "What is occurring is very bad, religious sites must be excluded from this."

County fire engines were able to put out the fire before it spread to any homes, according to Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.

After a brief initial delay, three trucks could get to the location, and the fire was stopped from spreading to other homes, Sakaja tweeted.

The battle in Kibra continued for hours, drawing considerable outrage on social media and calls for intervention from Kenyan lawmakers and citizens.

Raila and Uhuru Attack

Hours after a similar invasion of the Kenyatta family land in Northlands, a group of thugs broke into Raila Odinga's gas plant, East Africa Spectre Limited, in Nairobi.

There was no police presence or assistance during either invasion.

Odinga was leading demonstrations in Kawangware when the invasion took place, and he promised to keep fighting for a reduction in the high cost of living.

"We won't give up until the cost of living is down and the server is operational", according to Odinga.

The Managing Director's office at Spectre was explicitly targeted by the thugs, according to Humphrey Waswa, Manager of Security and Safety.

"They were receiving assistance from four unmarked cars, mostly land cruisers. Because her office has sustained the most damage, we believe the target was our managing director", said Waswa.

But he claimed that nobody was hurt.

Invading the farm with machetes and power saws, hundreds of thugs destroyed some trees. They set others on fire at the former president Uhuru Kenyatta's property near the Eastern By-Pass.

Officers sometimes stepped in.

Since most teenagers were observed carrying power saws and cutting trees, it appeared to be a well-planned raid.

The police did not step in.

Others were observed subdividing the area while loading the trees into pickup trucks.

The rowdy teenagers may also be seen leaving with sheep from the Northlands property, home to the Kenyatta family's Brookside Dairy farm.

Social media users have posted images of young people loading sheep into cars and waiting on a busy route.
