Senator Karen Nyamu, the nominee, is unbeaten. The clap-back queen is giving her enemies a run for their money, particularly those calling her names because of her association with Mugithii maestro Samuel Muchoki nicknamed Samidoh.
Karen released a video of herself and her man eating lunch and lipsyncing to a scene from her 2022 presidential campaign in Rware in her most recent TikTok post.
A career lawyer and politician, Karen was heard on the campaign path telling the crowd, 'Mimi naitwa Karen Nyamu wa nani? (My name is Karen Nyamu; who does she belong to?).' The cheerful residents responded, 'Wa Samidoh, (to Samidoh)' with laughing.
"We are used to your forcing issues," one of her supporters protested.

Karen responded quickly, "Nyinyi si mlishindwa kuforce ona sasa mngekuwa mnakulwa na love of your life kama mimi." (See, you didn't force issues either, and you, like me, would be enjoying life with the love of your life.)"
Karen has done nearly everything humanly possible to win Samidoh's heart, and she has now won the war. She has two children with the Kikuyu musician and has travelled with him on his music tours.
While her tight friendship with Samidoh has caused friction with his wife, Edday Nderitu, Karen has remained unfazed by the online love and abuse she has received.
Though her love life with Samidoh has not been easy, Karen has maintained that one can overcome obstacles along the way with determination and an eye on the prize.
Karen travelled to Dubai late last year to meet Samidoh, who was on vacation with his wife and putting up a show.
Karen sparked controversy at the venue, with videos of her "misbehaviour" going viral on social media. She then declared that she had broken up with his baby daddy but was later seen with him again.
Since then, the duo has remained inseparable.
