Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) has announced its latest collaboration with local Kenyan rapper Ndovu Kuu in association with its flagship beer brand Tusker.

This cooperation intends to drive the brand's Self-Rule campaign, which coincides with Kenya's 60th anniversary of internal self-rule.

Ndovu Kuu, famed for hits like "Tetanus" and "Ndovu ni Kuu," joins several esteemed A-list artists who already collaborate with the Tusker brand, including Wakadinali, Mutoriah, and Wangechi.

Catherine Twesigye, Senior Brand Manager at Tusker, expressed her excitement about this collaboration.

She underscored Tusker's dedication to supporting and promoting Kenyan musicians that exemplify the brand's values, character, and attitude.

The brand's ongoing commitment to developing emerging talent in the industry remains a primary priority.

"Our brand, Tusker, has always given Kenyan artists a platform to shine." Today's announcement reaffirms our commitment to this cause. "As we commemorate 60 years of independence, we salute pioneering artists such as Ndovu Kuu, Wakadinali, Mutoriah, and Wangechi as tremendous success stories," she remarked.

Twesigye stated that the artists are paving the path for future musicians to display their potential and establish long-term careers in the business.

She added that Tusker would continue to play an active part in allowing these burgeoning musical talents to bloom and stand firm.

"Ndovu Kuu embodies the spirit of our Nexters platform perfectly." "His distinct sound, new perspective on the Kenyan music industry, diverse talent, and capacity to inspire young musicians make him an ideal ambassador of the Tusker brand," Twesigye said.

Ndovu Kuu was ecstatic about working with Tusker, a company that appreciates artistic freedom and supports Kenyan musicians.

He acknowledged that the collaboration would help the business expand by giving young artists, producers, and sound engineers the exposure they deserve.

"I am ecstatic to work with a brand that values artistry and actively supports Kenyan musicians." It is a beautiful match, and I am confident that this collaboration will move the industry forward by spotlighting youthful talent and fostering its growth," said Ndovu Kuu.

The endorsement comes only a few days after TuskerFest, a month-long party circuit that captivated Kenyans with performances by popular rap group Wakadinali.

These outstanding musicians toured five cities in April, providing audiences with spectacular musical experiences.

Tusker's latest collaborations demonstrate the company's expanding involvement in Kenya's creative industry as it strives to encourage authentic Kenyan engagements in line with its Kenya Milele theme.
