Amber Ray, a socialite, has once again found herself in a contentious situation due to allegations that her spouse is involved in money laundering.

The couple's lavish lifestyle, as shown on their social media accounts, has only fueled rumours about how they came by their fortune.

The socialite is seen conversing with her son Gavin and husband Rapudo in a recent Instagram video Amber Ray published on her account after he gets home from work.

Gavin expresses amazement at Rapudo's remark about the several meetings he's had due to his hustle. He says he rarely sees his stepfather doing anything connected to the business.

He has never shown up for meetings or to be at work. Gavin says, "It seems strange because we always appear to have money, yet he doesn't seem to be working.

Amber Ray supports her son's assessment and discloses that her husband has been suspected of money laundering, with some attributing his substantial riches to these actions.

Rapudo argues in his defence that it doesn't matter what people think of him as long as he can support his family.

Rapudo firmly states, "I am smart, and I have hired people to work for me, people who are as lazy as those creating rumours about me.

Rapudo and Amber Ray have already justified their expensive way of life.

Rapudo recently said in an interview that their extravagant spending was due to divine favours bestowed upon them by God.


"We seek divine intervention while working hard and loving one another. We make do with what we have and are appreciative of it. According to Rapido, we do not strive; instead, it is a sign of God's favour.

Rapudo vehemently denied that their way of life might have been intentionally produced when questioned about its authenticity, saying, "How can you fake what you genuinely have? I've been doing this for a while. I don't look to other people for approval.

If the allegations are accurate, Amber Ray is one of the highest spenders in the nation, with a monthly reported expenditure of almost Sh9 million.

Despite having a significant online presence, Amber Ray is not known to hold a day job.
