Oga Obinna, a former Kiss FM host, responded that he was straight when Kamene questioned him about his sexual orientation.

On April 20, 2023, Kamene and DJ Bonez were married in a private ceremony. Despite having known each other for over six years, the couple had only been living together for two years.

Kamene begged the blogger to treat her with respect as someone's wife in a stoic manner.
