Zari revealed that her children did not approve of the marriage, which took place some time back in Shakib's home country. Their hesitation stemmed from their lack of knowledge about Shakib's true character.

Zari Hassan and her spouse, Shakib, have exciting plans to celebrate their love with a white wedding this year. According to Zari, the wedding ceremony has been set for December 2023.

In April of this year, during the holy month of Ramadan, Zari and Shakib tied the knot. Zari revealed that as part of their marriage traditions, Lutaaya, her husband, presented a Quran as a symbolic dowry.

Speaking to the media in Tanzania, she said:

"God has blessed me. I have a wonderful life; my kids are OK, my business is growing, and I occasionally get gigs. I have everything I have ever wanted in this world.
