Said Fella, the legendary Bongo flava talent manager, asserts that women and alcohol are the primary causes of bongo Dogo Aslay's declining musical career in recent years.
According to Fella, who discovered Dogo Aslay when he was a teenager, the singer has everything it takes to be successful, but the joys of this world have turned him into an enslaved person.
"Unlike other artists, Aslay's gift is innate; their success depends on their hard work. Aslay's indulgence in worldly pleasures, however, has been the cause of his misfortunes. He got involved with women and drink too early in the "adult stuff." They'll claim I'm hating, but I've watched this boy develop. Fella remarked that there is ample time to enjoy life, so he should take it easy on these things and concentrate on his music.
The now-politician music executive discovered the 29-year-old Aslay when he was a teenager and assisted him in breaking into the music industry.

When Aslay released his debut track Nakusemea in 2011 at 13, it became a smash in East Africa and marked his entrance into the music industry.
Later, Fella would arrange for him to join the equally successful Yamoto Band, including Enock Bella, Mbosso Khan, and Beka Flavour. Later, the group disbanded, with each member going their separate ways.
But Aslay continues to perform successful singles and hits even as a solo artist.
His music career looks to have fallen off recently, though, and Fella, who knows the youngster all too well, blames women and drink.
