The wife of Mugithi musician Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh, Edday Nderitu, has confirmed their divorce. Edday claimed she left her spouse for "whoever needed him more" in a statement on Saturday.
She continued by saying that she had decided to leave the setting, which she described as toxic, with her children.
"Let me correct a few inaccuracies that were published online. As said, I do not have a polygamous marriage. i lifet him for whoever needed him more, ," Edday stated.
"I decided to take myself and my children out of that toxic environment, especially my teenage daughter who, regrettably, is a direct victim of the behavior," Edday said.

Edday said she had raised her kids independently, independent of their father, Samidoh.
She continued by saying that she doesn't need drama as she enters a new stage of her life.
I merely want peace, and I hope my name won't be included in the upcoming instalment of this show.
Edday insists she won't bring up her kids in a polygamous family.
She said I would not raise my children in a polygamous family, especially with a woman who is more than ten years my senior. "I have said to you, and I'm saying it here again," she added.
This comes months after a conflict between her and Senator Karen Nyamu, who was nominated, occurred in Dubai.
On December 16, 2022, Edday Nderitu and Karen Nyamu came dangerously close to getting physical during Samidoh's Mugiithi event in Dubai.
Everything began when Nyamu walked up to Samidoh and forcibly plopped down on his lap.
While the security personnel attempted to separate the two women, Edday, the singer's companion, got up from where she was sitting and rushed to take her husband's hand.
In a widely shared video of the event, Karen Nyamu and Samidoh argue. Minutes later, when his bouncers stepped in, Karen allegedly lost her composure and nearly smacked her baby daddy.
Before the guards carried Karen away, Edday stepped up and attempted to yank Karen away from her husband.
Samidoh and Nyamu have recently been spotted getting close and personal during family gatherings.
Eddie moved to the United States with her kids, where she now resides.
