Azimio blogger Pauline Njoroge has finally broken her silence and detailed the circumstances surrounding her detention last week in a lengthy statement posted on her official Twitter page.

The outspoken opponent of the Ruto Administration continued by explaining how she had been monitored by the police and that they had since hidden drugs in both the hotel room and the automobile they were traveling in.

Following her arrest, Pauline Njoroge disclosed the specifics of a call she had received hours earlier from someone posing as a banker and claiming to have documents he wanted to personally deliver to her. Pauline claims that when the individual instructed her to only appear alone and without anybody else, that's when she started to feel in danger.

"The caller had identified himself as a person working for a bank. This person claimed that he had some confidential documents that he wanted to give me in Malindi and asked me to go alone. This startled me because I had not posted anywhere that I was at the Coast." Stated Pauline Njoroge.

Pauline Njoroge has refused to be frightened by the incidents or the threats, remaining steadfast in her stance. "I won't be kept silent. You merely made us more determined by keeping us in custody. We won't just stand by while some people attempt to recreate the terrible past of our nation. She said as she was drawing to a close.
