Kelvin Kinuthia, a Kenyan content producer, has come under fire for showing up to a church gathering in a body-hugging, strapless dress and wig. Kinuthia posted a video of herself dancing and praising on social media during the album release of gospel musician Zion Njeri.

He says his other ability is singing and dancing for the Lord. His social media followers, however, did not take this lightly and accused him of ridiculing God.

" Stop mocking God and Maumbile. You don't go to church na mavazu ya ivo if wewe ni boy...si content zote zinapelekwa kwa kanisa."

"I'm sorry but don't wear such when it comes to God brother."

Kinuthia responded that there was no way he could ridicule God by praising him and that people should just let him enjoy his relationship with God.

Kinuthia began gaining popularity on social media due to his love of makeup, nail painting, and feminine attire.

In a recent interview, he was asked why he prefers to look like a girl, does her hair and nails, dresses like a lady, and wears cosmetics, yet his ID card plainly states male.

Kinuthia confirmed that he cross-dresses for work and to pay his bills.

"This character has brought me where I am, there is no way I can switch up and start another character. People will get bored, people are used to this version," he said.
