Mercy Tarus I would like you to work for me… speak your heart …the future belongs to candid youth! Let’s talk

mercy tarus, who ails from Uasin Gishu, went viral for confronting uasin gishu county senator mandago and governor bii over the scholarship scandal crippling the county's affairs.

in the video, she noted that the children of the politicians have all moved to Australia or Europe, adding that the politicians have given their children a headstart while the children of poor people still languish in absolute poverty.

Last month, Governor Jonathan Bii distanced himself from the Finland scholarship fee payment controversy, saying that former governor Jackson Mandago (now a senator in Uasin Gishu) should come forward and explain what transpired.

However, Nairobi businessman Alinur was not pleased with how the young lady expressed herself and wanted her to apologize to the politicians.

Alinur took to his Twitter page, saying that Mercy should apologize to the politicians because her delivery was disrespectful.

"Those who are clapping for Mercy Tarus for being rude before her elders and Uasin Gishu leaders Governor Jonathan Bii, his deputy John Barorot, and Senator Jackson Mandago, you should be ashamed of yourself because you are not helping solve the situation. This is a very serious situation that even President William Ruto should call all the parents, guardians, and students to State House Nairobi and listen to them," he said

"However, I don't like how Mercy Taurus and others handle the situation. Why is she organising demonstrations? I even listened to her talking on Citizen TV, and it is like she wants to get into politics! We all want parents to be refunded their money and the leaders arrested, but Mercy Tarus should be keen and watch her behaviour so that she doesn't divert from the main issue and lose the money. We don't need dramas for them to be refunded. We only need accountability." he added.
