Tanzanian rapper Alikiba compared Diamond Platnumz to an empty barrel in reaction to Diamond Platnumz's allegation that the two do not have a grudge and that their online spat is merely an attempt to sell their respective albums.

When asked if he competes with Diamond in marketing his music, Kiba, the head of Kings' Music, responded as follows:

"Ukiona mtu anaropoka basi ujue debe tupu likipigwa linatoa kelele."

Diamond Platnumz, who goes by the name "Simba," is allegedly the target of a diss track by Kiba titled "Mnyama."

"Hakuna mtu hajapenda huo wimbo. Yeye nani? Simba wa picha huyo. Simba wa Instagram," he said.

Diamond invited Harmonize and Kiba to his Wasafi festival, but Kiba has yet to respond. Kiba's brother AbduKiba and Kiba will collaborate on a new project, according to Diamond.

"Abdukiba (Alikiba's brother) will collabo with myself in a song. I'll be with him at the festival and if his brother, Alikiba will see it fit, he can join us. If he gives us even one show, we shall appreciate it. Harmonize too. We need to use our brains in these things, let's not put our personal issues in these things."

Harmonize initially hesitated to go to the festival but then told his fans that he would be playing with his former boss.

"Nimeamua Nitakuwepo Mtwara, hakikisha unanunua tickets tukaijaze Nangwanda. Umesha-imagine Kwangrwaru linapigwa live pale after five years."
