Presenter Timeless Noel of Citizen TV and the musicians Jabidii and Didiman are pleading with artist Kevin Bahati to return to the gospel sector.
At Mwalimu Churchill's ceremony, the three ran into Mtoto wa Mama, reminding him of the day he vowed never to turn away from God after receiving multiple honours.
"This guy said that he will never leave," Jabidii reminded him.
Timeless Noel asked, "When are you coming back, my brother?
Quickly Bahati tried to defend himself, saying, "I have a whole album full of Love songs; where would I take it?
Did you read this?
Timeless retorted, "As long as you haven't said anything bad in there, we will consider that to be the Songs of Solomon."
Furthermore, he assured them they would warmly welcome Bahati back to the gospel business.
"We will welcome you very well and even try comparing between the two- (gospel and secular) which one had more value to you… Brother we love you. We have agreed if you come back, we will organize a concert for you and everything will be well," Noel added.
So when are you coming back? Former Kelele Takatifu member Didiman asked.
According to Noel, the Timeless host Bambika Even Bahati's Instagram followers are part of the gospel sector because he transitioned when he already had a sizable fan base.
After feeling cornered by the musicians, Bahati acknowledged his affection for the gospel music business.
Timeless Noel's comments were echoed by gospel artist Daddy Owen when he entered the discourse;
This young man should return to Gospel music... that's where his grace is. I still pray for him. May God bless you, @bahatikenya,".
