In an unexpected turn of events, radio personality Mwakideu has decided to go back to work and stated that the reason for his resignation was merely a difference of opinion with the corporation.

Radio host Alex Mwakideu of Milele FM was about to leave his longtime position at Media Max but has returned eventually. The radio host is one of the radio presenters with the longest tenure in Milele FM and the entire radio industry. Consequently, his statement about leaving the station shocked many Kenyans.

A few well-known people reacted quickly to Mwakideu's decision to leave Milele after he did, including comedian Mulamwah, Khaligraph Jones, and Mwakideu's closest friend Jalas, who also left the station.
"Bado niko milele FM." "Kumbe munanipenda hivi?" "Thank you all for the calls and messages, we had a small misunderstanding which has been sorted." "So we are good to go." Mwakideu said hours after the quitting message.

This sparked other responses from famous people who questioned if Mwakideu was making wise selections. For instance, Mwende Macharia of radio Maisha questioned the radio host about whether or not he was pursuing influence. Jalango instructed Mwakideu to resolve wage difficulties with the business, nevertheless.

Later, he advised his former co-host to consider leaving Milele FM before going public. "Kama wamefika bei twendelee!!" "Na wewe pia uamue kama unataka kazi ama hutaki!" Jalas said.
