Gospel singer Daddy Owen has spoken up about a recent run-in with airport security because of his unusual condition.

The musician, who had suffered eye loss, explained to Oga Obinna how his cross-eyed affliction caused an unanticipated hiccup during airport security checks.

After arriving in Dubai, he and two pals underwent the routine eye scan required by the airport's security procedures.

While his pals were free of any problems, Owen's trip had a surprising twist.

"I entered Dubai with two friends, you know these days in Dubai when you arrive, you undergo scanning with that globe thing. They scanned my friends, but when it came to me, it rejected," Owen shared.

Owen claims that he was called into an interrogation room for additional research due to a system error.

He had to work hard to convince the security staff that the discrepancy was due to his cross-eyed condition.

"Nilipelekwa interrogation room, before niexplain jicho moja sioni ilikua kibarua, before wanielewe ilikua kibarua," he explained.

("I was taken to an interrogation room before I explained, one of my eyes cannot see, it was a challenge before they understood that it was a challenge.”)

Daddy Owen has previously told his fans and supporters that he lost his eye due to an attack by individuals who beat him so severely that he also lost one of his eyes.

Before being saved, Owen was a vicious robber who made his way by snatching people's phones and wallets.

Beyond the incident at the Dubai airport, Daddy Owen also discussed the difficulties associated with having cross eyes daily.
