Kenyan content creator Kelvin Kinuthia has brushed off questions about his sexuality on claims that it is outdated.

Over the weekend, a curious fan contacted him on Instagram, seeking clarification about his sexual orientation, perhaps prompted by his choice of attire, which some might perceive as feminine.

"Are you gay," the fan asked.

In response, the entertainer neither affirmed nor denied it but pointed out that the question itself was antiquated.

"This one is still asking. Heehh, this one is like in the era of early man. This question is out of date," Kinuthia replied jokingly.

Another fan wanted to know if hhe is bisexual or if she dresses as a woman just to maintain her brand.

"Now what is intersex," Kinuthia answered.

Kelvin Kinuthia has faced previous inquiries about gender and romantic preferences, with people speculating about these aspects since the TikToker gained fame in 2021.

Around two years ago, rumors swirled about him allegedly posing as a woman and supposedly resulting in a disagreement over a claimed fare of Ksh344k, which he was said to have used.

In the last year, the 22-year-old content creator openly affirmed his male identity. During an interview with Mungai Eve, he clarified that depicting female characters in his videos serves as a form of entertainment and is an integral part of his profession.

Kinuthia emphasized that he has never denied being male. Nevertheless, he firmly stated that he is not prepared to cease portraying female roles, as it constitutes his means of livelihood.

"I'm a man. But I said I can't stop doing the things I'm doing because people have interfered with me saying I'm doing that and I'm a man. That's what has brought me to where I am," Kinuthia said.

She claimed that the female role that she plays has made her get jobs doing ads for women's clothing and cosmetics.

"There is no such thing as I will start changing the character. Even people will leave. There are people who are already used to the way Kinuthia is. There is no place where I have ever said that I am not a man. It is work and that is what has brought me to where I am," he said.

In another interview, he hinted that he plans to have his family in the near future.

However, he noted that he is not looking to venture into marriage soon but after about 10 years.

"Not this hour, maybe when I'm 30 years old when we're done with life. This hour is to beat life and find money," he said.

In the past, Kinuthia's mother expressed that she would be overjoyed when her son finds his future daughter-in-law.
