Two infamous gangsters who had been instilling fear among residents in Kibra and its surroundings were fatally shot today in a firefight with Kilimani detectives. The operation, conducted with precision, also resulted in the recovery of a Beretta pistol.
The suspects, identified only by their aliases Rundo and Mulinyo, were discreetly tracked by undercover investigators following anonymous tips from concerned members of the public to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), indicating their criminal activities in the densely populated area.

Upon learning that a team of crime busters was closing in on them, one of the criminals pulled out a firearm and began firing indiscriminately at the officers. This reckless action prompted the swift and decisive response of the agile sleuths, resulting in fatal injuries to the duo.
During the operation, six rounds of 9mm ammunition, seven spent cartridges, and four bullet heads were recovered alongside the firearm. The bodies were subsequently taken to a city mortuary for identification.
