A 23-year-old man was stabbed to death at his house after leaving a pub in Oyugis town on Wednesday night.
According to police in Rachuonyo South, Homa Bay County, the man, identified as Moses Akumu, died on the scene after being stabbed in the neck by unknown people for reasons that have yet to be determined.
Neighbors discovered Akumu's body on the floor, lying in a pool of blood, and contacted local security personnel.

The deceased was previously seen drinking at a pub in Oyugis town before leaving for his rental house.
Lilies Wachira, the Rachuonyo South sub-county Police Commander, said they have yet to determine the motive for the homicide.
This is the second murder in Oyugis town this week, following the killing of another guy on Tuesday evening by a knife.
Meanwhile, on Thursday night, a 24-year-old man was slain at Ringa commercial center in Rachuonyo East sub-county's Kojwach area.
Elvis Ochieng' was ambushed and slain at his father's butchery at 8 p.m. by unknown persons who fled on his motorbike, according to area Chief Caroline Onyango.
