Residents in Kakamega County's Malava were shocked after a man allegedly beat his wife to death and then concealed her body on their house's roof before committing suicide.
The deceased guy stated that his wife was having extramarital encounters prior to the incident. He is reported to have slain his wife in an argument that erupted after a disagreement over infidelity.

According to the late Esther Enock's mother and brother Zakayo Wakhanu, Isaiah, 47, arrived home three days ago from his business in the Nanyuki district.
"They started arguing in the house and after some time, the woman admitted that in the husband's absence, there's a man that sleeps in their matrimonial bed and that she has also paid him several visits," stated one of the residents.
He said that he overheard his wife and her adulterous boyfriend communicating on her phone. According to his relatives, efforts to advise him during the last two days were futile.
"This Solomon has made the community sad." If there is a disagreement in your home, seek aid in the community the church, or even inform your mother if she is still living. "If you can, talk to your friends because today's actions are really bad," another resident added.
The Kakamega County Police Commander, Joseph Kigen, said that an inquiry is underway and that the bodies, which were taken to the Kakamega General Hospital mortuary, are awaiting the findings of an autopsy.
