Police in Nakuru are investigating a case where one of their own shot and killed one person, injuring three others after refusing to pay his bill at a local bar.
According to witnesses at the scene, the officer refused to pay his bill of Ksh.16,000 at the pub. The officer is believed to have opened fire in the tavern before leaving after the Wednesday 2 a.m. incident.
The shooting incident left one person dead, and three others were seriously injured and are receiving treatment at Nakuru Level 5 Hospital.

The officer, according to the Nakuru County police commander, was arrested and detained at the Kaptebwa police station.
According to police, the four victims were two men and two women. The deceased was a female, and her body was sent to the city mortuary.
