Police are investigating an incident where v a 61-year-old woman was found dead inside her house at Monkokwo village in Besiobei sub-location in Bomet County.
The deceased, identified as Elizabeth Yegon, was found dead on Thursday.
Confirming the incident, Besoibei sub-location chief Godfrey Kipruto said the deceased had visible injuries on her body in what is suspected to be murder.
Police were informed of the incident and visited the scene.
Meanwhile, police have detained one of Yegon's sons for interrogation.
