This comes days after the EACC officers arrested a police officer, Paul Kamau Mbugua for demanding Kes 30,000 bribe from a liquor store in Kasarani’s Lumumba-Drive area.
Earlier, EACC had also arrested two Nairobi City country employees, Daniel Odidi Ganje and John Gachagua, for allegations of diverting county revenue through manipulation of the Nairobi Revenue Services portal.
EACC chairperson David Oginde had in December last year maintained that corruption in the country was a monster that the commission must slay, vowing to go after all corrupt public officials.
