Four suspected robbers have been taken into custody by Juja, Kiambu County police. They are accused of killing a guard and stealing a shipment of alcoholic beverages from a recently opened joint.
The new joint at Midnight Gardens in the Kimbo area is alleged to have been raided by suspects carrying homemade weapons. They are reported to have turned off the electricity and disconnected a backup generator before killing the guard and stealing the goods.
Kiambu County police commander Michael Muchiri claims that additional primitive weapons, such as a jack that resembled a gun and was used to terrorize bartenders during the 4 a.m. incident, were found by the police.
