Police are investigating the death of a 66-year-old man who was reported two days ago, only for his body to be found in a water canal on Sunday in Busia County.
Confirming the incident, Bunyala OCPD Isaiah Mose said Joseph Ong’udi was reported missing in the Burangasi area after he visited his family on Friday evening.
Further, he said his body was found in an irrigation canal without injuries.
It was removed to the Port Victoria mortuary as investigations got underway.
