Seven people who recorded themselves on video sexually assaulting a woman in bomet have been arrested.
According to Bomet County Police Commander Robinson Ndiwa, the seven were apprehended in the Olbutyo region of the Chepalungu sub-county and are being interviewed at the Chebunyo police station before being charged.
Ndiwa stated that two individuals apprehended have been positively identified as Anderson Mutai, 38, and Weldon Sigei, 21. The two reportedly took part in the terrible deed.

According to the county police head, the video was filmed last year and was shared on social media channels yesterday. The lady involved in the event has yet to be identified.
"The matter was not reported to us. We are doing all we can to process the whole thing. The law doesn't allow such content to be distributed or displayed anywhere,” added the officer.
Area head Edwin Barusei stated that the primary suspect, Anderson Mutai, was hosting the recorded video.
