A bodaboda rider has died after being hit by a vehicle at Chepseon on the Kericho-Nakuru route.
The driver of the tragic vehicle that caused the accident fled the scene, leaving the victim for dead.
“He is a known member who supplies eateries in our area,” local association chairman Sammy Bii said.

Residents who reported the incident to the Chepseon Police Station said the rider was on his way home when the accident happened.
"He was rushed to Kericho Referral Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries," the police stated.
Kericho police have launched a manhunt for the vehicle's driver, who remains on the run.
