A group of gunmen ambushed unsuspecting victims at a gas station, firing multiple shots before fleeing, as seen in newly released surveillance footage. The video, connected to a shooting last year that left a man dead, has been made public by police.

The footage shows a white car pulling into a South L.A. parking lot. Two individuals quickly exit the back of the car, weapons drawn, and begin shooting—one targets a car parked by a gas pump, while the other fires at another car and a person running down the sidewalk.

Within seconds, the shooters jump back into the car, which speeds away, with the entire incident lasting less than 10 seconds.

Police identified the victim as 32-year-old Marquette Scott, who was sitting in the car at the gas pump when he was shot and killed. Authorities still have no clear motive for the shooting.

In April, after exhausting all leads, police offered a $50,000 reward for any information that could help solve the case.
