A 21-year-old woman has been arrested after allegedly stabbing her husband to death during a domestic dispute in Matuu township, Machakos County.

According to neighbors who witnessed the event, the woman stabbed her spouse after stating she was disappointed by him.

According to accounts, the 23-year-old male was stabbed on the left side of his chest and died immediately.

The 21-year-old lady, who is being investigated as a murder suspect, stabbed herself with the same knife.

She was bleeding and was transported to Matuu level four hospital for treatment before being led to Matuu police station, where she is presently being detained.

The deceased's body has been transferred to Matuu level four mortuary and is undergoing autopsy.
