Police officers in Karinde, Kiambu County, have recovered the bodies of a man and a woman in what is believed to be a tragic murder-suicide .
The decomposing remains were discovered inside their home, with the man found hanging from an electricity cable and the woman lying lifeless on the floor.
A toddler, estimated to be around 18 months old, was found alive next to the deceased mother. The child was immediately rushed to Mutuini Hospital for medical care.

Police reports indicate that the man, identified through an ID found in his pocket as Reuben Ndede, is suspected of killing the woman, believed to be his wife, before taking his own life. The woman’s identity remains unknown as investigations continue.
The bodies have been moved to the Nairobi City Morgue for autopsy as authorities pursue further inquiries to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
