Nicholas Mwanzia, 56, of Ituusya village in Kangundo, Machakos, has been charged with defiling his two daughters, who are eight and fifteen years old, before Kangundo court today.
According to reports, Mwanzia violated his 8-year-old many days between February and March 2023.
He is also said to have defiled his 15-year-old daughter within the same time frame.
Before court number 1, he entered a not-guilty plea to the accusations, and the court released him on a Kshs 200,000 surety bond.
Mwanzia entered a not-guilty plea to the accusations before Principal Magistrate Martha Opanga freed him on a Ksh. 400,000 bond—Ksh. 200,000 for each count.

According to a related report, police in Kirinyaga County detained a 40-year-old male in the Mwea East sub-Gathigiriri county's hamlet for allegedly defiling a two-and-a-half-year-old infant girl.
Peterson Njeru, 40, was detained by authorities from Wang'uru police station after the mother reported the incident, according to Lucas Chebet, the deputy police commander for Mwea East Sub-County.
