While speaking to the media on Sunday, mugithi entertainer DJ Fatxo denied any connection to the late Geoffrey Mwathi's death.
DJ Fatxo said he would work with DCI detectives to determine what happened to interior designer jeff mwathi and the circumstances that led to his death. Jeff mwathi died at the DJ's home at DJ Fatxo. The mugithi dj claims that he and jeff have been friends for a long time and that he used to buy shoes from him.
According to the DJ, he left his house with three ladies on that fateful day and returned to his place three hours later to find Jeff nowhere to be found.
"After coming home and realizing that Jeff was not with them, I was the one who went to the police station to report that Jeff was missing," DJ Fatxo said.

Dj fatxo said that claims of him not mourning jeff were false and that he had reached out to Jeff's family and offered to help them with funeral arrangements. He added that he could not attend the funeral because he feared for safety.
"I had called the family at least 8 times, and when I could not reach them, I had my mom try and reach them," DJ Fatxo said.
"Maybe Mama Jeff hakufikiwa na ripoti that niilkuwa nataka tupatane, the other thing is that I'm so willing to coperate with detectives, DCI.. kila mtu mwenye ako hapo hivo ili tupate ukweli,"
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations looking into the death of jeff mwathi refuted claims that jeff mwathi jumped from the window because the space was so small that an adult could not pass through.
"On the matter of the late Jeff Mwathi, have spoken to the DCI Mr Amin this morning and instructed him to send a homicide team from the DCI headquarters to thoroughly investigate the incident and take the necessary action," the CS wrote.
