Four suspected gang members linked to a series of robberies in Likoni have been apprehended by police in Mombasa.

The four, identified as Juma Athman (24), Bakari Bakari (22), Rajab Sumba (21), and Juma Ali (21), are thought to be members of various gangs terrorizing the area.

While confirming the arrest, Likoni area police commander Timothy Muasya stated that police officers will continue to hunt down other gang-affiliated members to maintain peace in the area.

Their arrest comes just a week after local police launched a manhunt for gang members.
The four await to be arraigned in court on Tuesday.
