UPDATE! Woman Accused Of Killing, Eating Body Organs Of 2-Year-Old Daughter Detained For Ten Days

A Kajiado court has ordered the imprisonment of a mother accused of murdering her two-year-old child by slicing her into pieces with a knife and feeding on parts of her internal organs.

Olivia Naserian murdered her daughter Glory Njeri on Sunday at their home in Kitengela's Milimani Estate, then consumed her insides before neighbours called the police, who arrived and detained her.

On Tuesday, she appeared before Chief Magistrate Jane Kamau, who ordered that Naserian be held in police custody for another ten days so that police detectives could conclude their investigations.

Naserian is scheduled to appear in court on May 8.

Meanwhile, her daughter's body was sent to Kitengela's central hospital morgue.
