Police arrested a 33-year-old man for defiling two minors aged 3 and 4 at their home in Eldume location, Baringo South constituency.
According to reports, the minors are recovering in hospital. They were left home by their parents, who had gone to the farm when the suspect Joshua Kasitet took advantage.
According to doctors, the girls are being treated for their physical and emotional stress at Marigat Sub-County Hospital, who also report that their status is stable.
Kasitet, who community members lynched, is also being treated for injuries in the same clinic.
According to Marigat Sub-County Police Commandant David Kiptoo, once the suspect is in stable, he would be arraigned in court.
